Jayla, then a 7-year old from Zachary, Louisiana sent this thank you note to her Aunt Angela for giving her "Beautiful Like ME!" as a gift.  Aunt Angela wrote to us that Jayla has more confidence since learning about the characters.  "It meant a lot to Jayla to color images of people who look like her", said Aunt Angela.  "Her self esteem has improved.  This book is very necessary."
